Training in the Air Force is divided into three types:
- Officer training: The School of Aviation Borj el Amri form mainly engineering officers (pilot engineers and technicians). The school also trains civilian pilots as students or senior technicians or technical assistants in aviation for the benefit of airlines and national and international organizations.
- Training NCOs: It takes place in the School of Aerospace Specialties and School of NCO's of the Air Force.
- Training of corporals: It takes place mainly in two army training air centers.
